What's up? I'm back from my trip. Actually, I arrived Friday night. Mexico was cool. I got to meet family and the president of my dad's old stomping grounds, who is also family. And... I drew/inked/colored two Tn'A comics in glorious colored pencil (sarcasm). Actually, I drew three intotal, but I'll get to the third one later.

While MX was cool, it really limited Tn'A. For the example, one comic, which I might not put up, was about something I read on Kotaku.com on March 17th. It's old news now, but it was about a new Sonic game that had just been registered, Sonic Unleashed. Nobody knew much about the game at the time. Which leads me to the third comic I made.

I made a comic talking about this new game in Mexico. I figured not much would be revealed other than some blog speculating over what it may be and Sonic Cult bashing the crap out of it. So I drew it, making Sonic talk about how neat it would be and Tails not buying into his fake marketing crap. When I got home, BAM! It was everywhere. Leaked screenshots and a movie! So much for that idea.

But that's not what this is about. Since the comic is trashed, I figured I'd share my opinions, if anyone cares or bothered to read this far. So according to the Sonic Stadium, the plot of the new game follows Sonic '06 (oh, God, no). He has some kind of curse due to the whole Iblis trigger bullshit, which makes him into this werewolf creature that he has to fight off.

...yes, a were-hog-wolf-thing. Just when the story couldn't any weirder. But looking at the screenshots and movie, it looks decent. The gameplay I saw resembled that of Sonic Rush. Even the dash was there. I thought, this might be fun, a return to old-school platforming, fast-paced levels. The graphics look decent. They aren't GREAT. In fact, I thought it was going to be a downloadable game on XBox MarketPlace or PS3 Store. It's a console game. ...lovely.

So, there's my two-point-five cents. Things are great. I start school on Tuesday. I'm working on Tn'A right now. It won't look spectacular but hey, it's content. Sorry.

P.S. Another thing that happened while I was gone was that I got a package from Activision and Red Octane. Because of the whole Guitar Hero 3 audio problem, they sent me complementary faceplate for my guitar. BALLIN'! Also, I'm a little excited for Guitar Hero Aerosmith.
