How unoriginal. The joke was inspired by a journal I read that said something along the lines of if it (werewolf/transforming) was good in Twilight Princess, it might work in Sonic.

So, now that's it's official, Sega released some info. on Sonic Unleashed. It's a 2D-ish sidescroller with some 3D elements . It's also running on a new engine that has been in development for three years called "the Hedgehog Engine."
The levels will alternating between night and day. During the day, you're Sonic and you're running. At night, you're a Were-Hog thing, you know, like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde or the American Werewolf. Still not psyched but interested.
